Addictive Kale chips!

Im never buying these again! This could not be easier guys 🤷🏽‍♀️

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 bunch of Kale (stems removed)
  • 2 tablespoons Avocado oil or Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup Nutritional Yeast
  • sprinkle of Garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Wash and dry the kale!

Toss the kale in oil and massage in well. Sprinkle with the Garlic, nutritional yeast, salt and pepper and mix with your hands until all the leaves are coated!

Place the kale on a large baking sheet and spread evenly.

Bake on the center of the oven at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes, turn tray half way.

 

It really is that easy 🤗 next time I will add my raw cashews to my dry ingredients in a blender just for a bit more depth!

These can keep for 3 days in an air tight container.

Our first state Fair and Emi had so much fun on the rides!

BUT 😳 I am still in complete shock at the POISON they were serving people to eat!

We finally found some corn on the cob with no butter and a freshly squeezed lemonade with no sugar! (Don’t ask where those huge genetically modified lemons came from?) It was 85 and we were thirsty!

This is not funny guys, it’s terrifying and really sad 😞

I watched kids as young as 2 years old eat this SHIT and it broke my heart 💔

An adult can make a decision for themselves and damn well live with it ….. but KIDS?

STOP KILLING YOUR KIDS PLEASE 🙏🏾 7% of U.S. children and adolescents ages 6 to 19 have high total cholesterol 🤷🏽‍♀️

Then to top it off they had a beautiful elephant completely exposed in the heat being ridden continuously in a circle … When you looked into his eyes, the sadness and pain took my breath away and I just wanted to punch someones lights out!

I thought at this moment, what would @domzthompson do 🙏🏾 Animals surely deserve to live their lives free from suffering and exploitation.

We have to fight for animal and human rights together ❤️ One does not outweigh the other.

In his book Animal Liberation, Peter Singer states that the basic principle of equality does not require equal or identical treatment; it requires equal consideration.

Get the Kids Juicing

Best thing I could have ever done for my little one was juicing! From the tender age of 1 she was picking  fruits and vegetables out and fully involved in the process 😂

Beetroot and ginger was and still is a huge winner in our home. And lets not forget fresh green kale, apple, courgette, spinach, cucumber juices!

There’s always something in the fridge that you can juice up, even just simple carrots 🥕 It does not always have to be so complex … JUST GET THE KIDS INVOLVED 🙏🏾

From the moment we cracked this baby open EMI was in heaven! Such an islander like her mama, wanting to eat every morssil and suck every drop of juice from the skin!

I avoid pre-packaged, pre-cut fruit like the plague …. every child needs to see what they are eating in its rawest form, not just fruit and Veg!

If we all did this it would change our relationship to what we eat and how we eat 🙏🏾 But so many are running scared and don’t want to face the ugly truth!

Im not gonna get to heavy on this post … but we will address this a little deeper at a later date.
