A KIWANO/AFRICAN HORNED CUCUMBER was our first on the list and kind of tasted like a cross between a Kiwi, Courgette, pineapple (ever so slightly) and a cucumber 🤷🏾♀️ But once we got into it … Not bad at all 😋
We are going to experiment a bit more with this. Maybe in a juice, salad dressing or on ice-cream!!!!!!!!!!

It’s the summer holidays and time to get the kids in the kitchen!! Assorted sizes of banana pancakes made by my little 🐒 taste YUMMY 😋
She even made ROCK PEOPLE to share them with 😂 It’s so easy my 5 year old made them!
LETS DO THIS
Mash in a bowl 1 super ripe banana & add the following:
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 teaspoon of coconut oil
3/4 cup of plant based milk (I like walnut or almond the best)
In a separate bowl combine 1 cup of unbleached flour & 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder.
Whisk all ingredients together and let it sit in the fridge for 5 mins!
Spray a pan with coconut oil and get flipping!
Garnish with your favourite fruit and syrup!
Best thing I could have ever done for my little one was juicing! From the tender age of 1 she was picking fruits and vegetables out and fully involved in the process 😂
Beetroot and ginger was and still is a huge winner in our home. And lets not forget fresh green kale, apple, courgette, spinach, cucumber juices!
There’s always something in the fridge that you can juice up, even just simple carrots 🥕 It does not always have to be so complex … JUST GET THE KIDS INVOLVED 🙏🏾

From the moment we cracked this baby open EMI was in heaven! Such an islander like her mama, wanting to eat every morssil and suck every drop of juice from the skin!
I avoid pre-packaged, pre-cut fruit like the plague …. every child needs to see what they are eating in its rawest form, not just fruit and Veg!
If we all did this it would change our relationship to what we eat and how we eat 🙏🏾 But so many are running scared and don’t want to face the ugly truth!
